Cue — iOS & Android app
Terms of Service
Effective August 10, 2026
These terms cover your use of Cue, an app published by JKNKMedia. They’re intentionally short, because Cue itself is a small app with no account system and no server — most of what a typical terms page covers simply doesn’t apply here.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By downloading, installing, or using Cue, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
2. License to use the app
JKNKMedia grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Cue on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these terms and the terms of the App Store or Google Play store you downloaded it from.
3. Your content
Any routines, checklist items, or other content you create in Cue are yours. As described in our Privacy Policy, this content is stored only on your own device — JKNKMedia does not receive, store, or have access to it.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where applicable law expressly permits it. Use the app in any way that violates applicable law. Interfere with or disrupt the app or attempt to gain unauthorized access to its underlying systems. Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the app itself.
5. Intellectual property
Cue, its name, icon, design, and underlying code are the property of JKNKMedia and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these terms transfers any ownership of that property to you beyond the limited license described above.
6. Free tier, preview, and subscription
Your first routine in Cue is free, permanently — there’s no time limit on this and it never requires a subscription. When you first install Cue, it also starts a one-time 3-day preview that gives you full access, including as many routines as you want. The preview starts automatically, requires no sign-up, and involves no purchase or payment of any kind. When it ends, the app doesn’t lock or charge you anything — it simply returns to the permanent one-routine free tier described above.
Creating more than one routine outside of the preview window requires an optional, separate paid subscription — $3.99/month or $24.99/year, depending on the plan you select — billed through your Apple ID or Google account. Unlike the preview, a subscription is never started automatically: it only begins when you deliberately choose to purchase one.
Once purchased, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your payment method will be charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period, at the price then in effect.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings (iOS) or the Google Play Store app (Android) — Cue itself has no ability to process, modify, or cancel your subscription directly.
Refunds are handled entirely by Apple or Google under their own respective refund policies. JKNKMedia does not process payments and cannot issue refunds directly.
7. No warranty
Cue is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don’t guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular medical, behavioral, or health-related purpose — Cue is a personal organization tool, not a medical device or clinical treatment.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JKNKMedia will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, Cue.
9. Changes to the app or these terms
We may update Cue or these terms from time to time. If these terms change, we’ll update the effective date above. Continuing to use Cue after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Termination
This license ends automatically if you uninstall Cue or otherwise stop using it. We may also suspend or terminate your license if you violate these terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. If you’re located outside Canada, local consumer-protection laws that can’t be waived by contract may still apply to you.
