Cue is an on-device routine-checklist app. This policy explains what that means in practice: what data the app touches, where it lives, and who else — if anyone — ever sees it.

Information we do not collect

Cue has no account system, no sign-in, and no server it talks to. As a direct result, we do not collect, and have no access to:

• Your name, email address, or any account or contact information
• Your location
• Analytics, usage statistics, or crash reports sent to us
• Advertising identifiers, or any data used for advertising or tracking
• Photos, contacts, health data, or any other device data Cue doesn’t need and doesn’t request

Information stored on your device

Cue stores the following data locally on your device only, using standard on-device app storage:

• Routines you create — their name, icon, scheduled time, and checklist items
• Completion history — which checklist items you’ve marked done, kept for a rolling 14-day window so the History screen can show recent activity
• Settings — your chosen widget color and reminder timing preference

None of this data is transmitted anywhere. It is not sent to us, not backed up to any cloud service by the app, and not accessible to anyone but you on your own device. If Cue includes a home-screen widget on your device, the widget reads this same locally-stored data directly from your device in order to display it — that data still never leaves your device.

Notifications

Cue can send you a local reminder notification for each routine you set up. These are scheduled entirely on your device using your operating system’s own notification system. No notification content, device token, or delivery data is sent to us or to any third-party notification service — there is no server in the loop at all.

Third parties

Cue does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software development kits (SDKs). We do not share, sell, or transmit your data to any third party, because Cue does not transmit your data anywhere in the first place.

The only parties with any technical visibility into your use of Cue are Apple and Google themselves, through the standard, OS-level functionality every app on their platforms runs on (for example, app-crash diagnostics you’ve separately opted into at the operating system level, which we do not receive). That data collection is governed by Apple’s and Google’s own privacy policies, not this one.

Children’s privacy

Cue is not directed at children and is not designed to collect personal information from anyone, of any age. Because the app collects no personal data from any user, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the relevant age of digital consent in your region).

Your choices and data deletion

Because everything Cue stores lives only on your device, you are always in direct control of it:

• Delete an individual routine or checklist item at any time from within the app
• Deleting a routine also removes its associated completion history
• Uninstalling Cue removes all of its locally stored data from your device

There is no account to delete and no request process needed, since we never hold a copy of your data to begin with.

Subscriptions and payment

Cue’s first routine is free permanently, with no subscription required. A one-time 3-day preview on first install additionally unlocks unlimited routines — this preview involves no payment, account, or sign-up of any kind, so there is nothing to disclose about it here.

Creating more than one routine after the preview ends requires an optional paid subscription. Subscription purchases are processed entirely by Apple or Google through your Apple ID or Google account — Cue does not collect, receive, or store your payment card details, billing address, or any other payment information. The only information we receive is confirmation of an active subscription status, used solely to unlock additional routines on your device.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we’ll update the effective date above and post the revised version at this same address. Since Cue has no account or email on file for you, we have no way to notify you directly — we’d encourage checking back here occasionally, especially before granting the app any new permission.
